What is the difference between the 5 stage and 7 stage reverse osmosis purifiers?

The 5 stage reverse osmosis purifier has 5 stages the PP ,GAC ,CTO ,Taste and Odor and membrane .The 7 stage reverse osmosis has one extra filter that is divided into 2 stages and adds good minerals back into the water that the membrane takes out

How do i know when to change my water filters?

Normally we say that your water filters needs to be changed every year, but that depends greatly on the quality off your water. Best way to know when to change your water filter is with a TDS pen, this pen measures the Total Dissolved Solids in your water. The Reverse Osmosis purifier has a TDS of between 4 and 8 we change the basic filters when the TDS goes above 10 and your membrane when your TDS goes above 20. Inline Purifiers TDS will be higher than the RO’s TDS normally between 80 and 100 , test your water TDS after 3 days of use wright it down and when your TDS goes 15 to 20 above that number filters can be changed

Why does my Reverse Osmosis Purifier have a drain pipe

The RO system has a drain pipe because the membrane is a practical separating filter ,that means it separates the water molecules from the other molecules and that “bad molecules ” must be discarded down the drain or else your membrane will get blocked very quickly and will have to be changed every few months rather than every few years

There's only a small stream of water coming out of my faucet, what’s wrong?

The RO system has a drain pipe because the membrane is a practical separating filter ,that means it separates the water molecules from the other molecules and that “bad molecules ” must be discarded down the drain or else your membrane will get blocked very quickly and will have to be changed every few months rather than every few years

Why get a Reverse Osmosis System with a pump than one without?

If your water pressure at your house is low that means below 3 Bar then u need a pressure pump with your RO system and if you are not sure if it is or is not, rather take a unit with a pump ,rather have it and not use it than need it and not have it

Why is there no water coming out of my Reverse Osmosis Purifier?

This can be because your water filters is blocked and  needs to be changed , it can also be because your water pressure in your house has dropped to below 3 Bar and it doesn’t have enough pressure to push the water through your membrane (time to get a Pressure Pump)

What pressure must my Reverse Osmosis tank be?

We normally pump it to 10 PSI or 0,69 BAR if there water coming out of your pressure valve when pumping the tank then your bladder in your tank has torn from the tank and u have to get a new one

Why does my Reverse Osmosis System keep throwing water down the drain?

The only time an RO System is supposed to be releasing Water on the drain is during pure water production, which is the dirty water, otherwise;

This may be because of a few reasons

Your membranes o rings are worn out or not pushed in enough so that both o rings are set into the whole of the membrane canister

Your 4 way valve is worn and doesn’t control the pressure of your RO system

The non-return valve (fitting) on your membrane canister is stuck or broken

The flow restrictor on your RO is faulty (flow 300)

How can I reuse my drain water from my Reverse Osmosis system?

70 % of your RO drain water can be run through your RO Purifier again if let’s say u have a storage tank that your drain valve can flow in with other water that u filter. Your membrane will not hold as long and you’re going to have to “wash” your membrane by opening your wash valve on your flow 300

You can also let your drain water tap into a storage tank and from there use it for other preferred purposes.

Can my reverse osmosis system filters brackish water or salt water

No is can’t with the membrane that u get with the system because the salt will block your membrane within a few days depending on how salty your water is BUT u do get brackish membrane that is made to filter brackish water ask our Technicians for more info on the brackish membrane

Why is my Reverse Osmosis water tasting and smelling funny

Your inline carbon filter is pleated and needs to be replaced

Your RO tank is old and rusting from the inside so that’s why you get an iron taste to your water

Your flow 300 is blocked and your drain water is coming through to your clean RO water replace flow restrictor and membrane to sort out your problem.

How do I install my Reverse Osmosis System?

I am going to explain this step by step if you follow these steps you would have your RO system installed in no time

  1. Drill a 12mm hole in your sink where you want your faucet to be
  2. Drill a 6mm hole in your drain pipe
  3. Assemble your RO system first the bottom 3 canisters take of the plastics of your filters install the PP filter then your carbon activated filter and last your carbon block filter then screw the canisters on to the canister heads. Now open your membrane and put it in the membrane canister make sure it is installed with the 2 o rings first press in hard to make sure both o rings are pressed into the hole at the bottom, screw the cap of the canister back on tightly
  4. Take your tank out of the box now get your tank tap and screw it onto your tank make sure to put some thread tap on the thread of the tank nozzle
  5. Now go under your sink and make the water connection to your mains, find the cold water pipe by opening your hot water and feeling which pipe gets hot then use the cold pipe. Shut of your cold water either under your sink or at the mains outside. Take your connection fitting the one with the hole on the side and screw the small shut off valve (normally blue) into the hole remember the thread tape. Now screw the connection fitting to your main water supply under your sink and screw the flexi hole of your main tap to your connection fitting
  6. Assemble the faucet end screw it tight onto your sink
  7. Now all you have to do is connect all the pipes to your water purifier. Take the white tube you got with your purifier and connect a pipe from your water in on your purifier to the blue shutoff valve on your connection fitting. Then connect your drain valve on your purifier to your drain push the pipe inside the whole you drilled push it in as far as halve a meter should be a tight fit then take some glue and glue the pipe to the whole. Now you can connect your faucet to your last filter on your purifier. The last step is to connect your tank to your purifier connect it to the t-piece on the first filter on top off your purifier
  8. Open your shutoff valve you will hear the bottom filters filling up leave your tank tap closed. Wait till water comes out of your faucet on top (if water does not come out on top that means your water pressure is too weak and you will need a purifier with a pump above 3 bar should be enough for a normal RO system). Close the faucet on top and open your tank valve the tank should be full in 2 hours if your pressure is right.
  9. Empty your first tank of water to let your filters wash clean the water after that you can drink

For any problems please contact us and we will help your over the phone.

My purifier is leaking out of the bottom canister how can I fix it?

Most probably your o ring on your canister is missing or worn out or it made a loop when u changed the water filters. Change the o ring with a new one , if you can’t get that size o ring change the whole canister because short term fixes like with thread tape is not going to last long and then you are going to wake up with a kitchen under water

What does a carbon filter take out of the water?

Carbon filters deliver extended life while removing sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions or suspensions. The Carbon Block filter is also widely used in filtering organic solvents, some pesticides and heavy metals.

What does a Polypropylene Water Filter take out of the water?

The PP filter removes sand, salt, dirt and dust particles from the water filtered.

What does the membrane take out of the water?

Sodium , sulfate , calcium , potassium , nitrates , iron , zinc , mercury , selenium , phosphate , lead , arsenic , magnesium , nickel , fluoride , manganese , cadmium , barium , cyanide , chloride , hormones and pesticides ,Bacteria and Viruses

How much water do I get from a 50 GPD membrane ?

189 liters a day if your water pressure is above 3,4 Bar

How much water would I get from a 100 GPD membrane ?

378 Liters per day if your water pressure is above 3,4 Bar

How much water will a 400 GPD membrane give me ?

1512 liters per day the 400 GPD RO comes with a pump so water pressure doesn’t matter

What removes Chlorine from water?

Carbon is the best media to take Chlorine out of your water

What takes iron out of water?

DMI 65 takes iron out of water

What removes viruses and bacteria from water?

Reverse Osmosis takes out viruses and bacteria from water

What can I use to make my water soft?

There’s a couple of systems on the market to soften your water the two main ones we use is a 3 Stage Big Blue system with siliphos crystals on the last filter, the other is a water softener with DMI 65 and a brine tank with salt to activate the media
